John R. Marshe is an author, actor and screenwriter whose creative work spans fiction and film and television performance. His writing focuses on emotionally grounded characters placed inside stories where memory, loss, family and the unexplained can collide.
His supernatural thriller series The Other Side follows Kate Winslow through a world in which grief, memory and reality begin to fracture. The series is written with a visual, screen-first sensibility that favours atmosphere, restraint and long-form character development.
John is also the author of The Lighthouse Between Us, a story for younger readers about belonging, change and finding home in more than one place.
As an actor, John has appeared in film and television productions including How NOT to Hire a Hitman, Doc, See No Evil and Danno’s Escape. That experience in front of the camera informs the pacing, dialogue and visual construction of his fiction.
